2. Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- Verify your email address when asked and keep your contact details current.
- Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
- Not share your account with other people or create accounts for others without authorization.
If you are under the age of consent in your jurisdiction, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and accepted these terms on your behalf.
3. License to Use the Service
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Avenpath for personal, non-commercial study. This license does not permit you to:
- Copy, scrape, or redistribute curriculum content, assessments, or media outside the platform.
- Resell, sublicense, or republish any portion of the service.
- Use the service to build a competing educational product.
4. Content You Create
You keep ownership of the content you create — practice assessments you generate, flashcards, notes, and community posts. We only ask for the permission needed to run the service: a worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display that content so it works on Avenpath. AI-generated practice sets you create are stored to your account so you can revisit them.
You confirm that content you submit is yours (or that you're allowed to share it) and doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.
5. Fees & Payments
Some features may be offered for a fee in the future. If you purchase a paid plan, you agree to pay all charges associated with your account, and purchases are subject to the refund policy displayed at the time of purchase. We may change prices with notice, and price changes will not apply to already-paid periods.
6. Disclaimers
Avenpath provides educational materials and AI-generated practice content for learning purposes. We do not guarantee specific grades, exam outcomes, or admission results. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Avenpath and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, or learning progress, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend or terminate access to the service if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or if we are required to do so by law. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends; we will honor applicable data-deletion rights.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
